On February 10, 2025, Army Medical College Chattogram bid farewell to Brig Gen Prof. Md Kabir Uddin(LPR), FCPS(Medicine), FCPS (Pulmonology) and Brig Gen Prof. Md Moniurl Hoque, SUP, FCPS, MCPS, DCP.

In the farewell speech, Brig Gen Md Kabir Uddin expressed profound gratitude to the administration, faculty and students for their unwavering support and collaboration throughout his tenure. Reflecting on the milestones achieved during his time at the college, he shared his pride in being part of such a vibrant and evolving institution. His heartfelt words deeply
resonated with the audience, leaving a lasting impression.

Later, Brig Gen Md Monirul Hoque in his speech reflected on his career journey, sharing some of his most cherished moments. He emphasized the importance of discipline, perseverance, and ethics in the academic lives of students and inspired them to adhere to these values. Additionally, he highlighted the significance of hard work in becoming a skilled and compassionate medical professional in the future.
Both the professors were presented with a crest as a token of honour. Their colleagues took the podium to share their experiences working with them, recounted their early years and collaborative projects they undertook.
Chief Executive Officer appreciated their inspiring journeys and invaluable guidance and wished them a better future. The event concluded with a prayer for the forgiveness of the soul of the recently departed Principal, Brig Gen Ahmed Rafi Sir.
