Microbiology

Microbiology is an important branch of medical science that principally deals with different types of microorganisms, their nature and life cycle. It also includes etiopathogenesis and clinical picture of microbial diseases, along with immunological responses involved, aiding in diagnosis and prevention of diseases. Army Medical College Chattogram, Microbiology started its journey from July, 2017 three years after the establishment of the medical college. The microbiology department, AMCC aspires to build up skilled physicians, following the BMDC curriculum for MBBS course. It is an enriched department with well equipment laboratory facilities and experienced teachers and stuff panel. The faculty is student friendly, highly active and enthusiastic regarding teaching-learning activities, aiming to groom up knowledge, skilled and efficient generation in medical profession to serve as an asset for the nation.
