Anatomy

Human anatomy is the science of studying and understanding the structure and organization of the body. It is a practical, applied science that forms the basis for the practice of medicine. The art of medicine requires a strong foundation in the basic medical sciences, and anatomy is a key stone in that foundation. Multiple individual subjects (not the chapter of a single book) like gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, histology, embryology, radiological anatomy, living anatomy, functional anatomy, general anatomy, molecular biology, genetics and clinical anatomy etc. are actually accumulated under the umbrella of Anatomy.

Training and Learning Facilities: The department has all the requisite training lab facilities like histology lab and anatomy museum. The labs are equipped with all modern training aids, models, charts and cadavers.
