Army Medical College Chattogram has a well decorated Forensic Medicine Department. The department is providing training in the subject specialty of Forensic Medicine for the undergraduate students of MBBS degree classes. The department is dedicated to the study & consecutive application of different areas of the medical science. These are applied to Human body in order to assist the law for investigation a crime including murder, sexual assault, poisoning or unnatural death. It deals with the concept of imparting knowledge of Medico-legal responsibilities to the treating physician & various problems related to the practice of legal medicine.

Currently 50 under graduates are pursuing Forensic Medicine & Toxicology. It is enriched with proper accommodation (both for teaching staff & Non teaching staffs). The department has modern amenities with well planned & furnished faculty rooms & office. It is equipped with computers, laptops for the entire faculty, Internet facility, an outstandingly organized museum & laboratory.
