On January 12, 2025, Army Medical College Chattogram (AMCC) celebrated its 11th Raising Day, a remarkable milestone reflecting a legacy of academic excellence and service. The day’s events unfolded with a perfect blend of tradition, inspiration, and festivity, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

𝐀 𝐍𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞.

The celebrations began on January 9 with a blood donation programme organized by the Medicine Club, AMCC. This compassionate initiative, marked by enthusiastic participation from students and faculty, embodied the college’s commitment to community service and humanity.

𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜: 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙡𝙖𝙜 𝙍𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜.

The main celebration commenced with a Central Assembly on 12 January. The Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) & Principal inaugurated the day with a Flag Raising Ceremony, symbolizing pride and progress. A heartfelt Munajat followed, seeking blessings for the institution’s continued success.

𝐔𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐞 “𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐀” & 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

The first part of the event was graced by Professor Dr. Emran Bin Yunus, MBBS, FCPS, FRCP (Edinburgh), former Principal and Head of Nephrology at CMCH, as the Chief Guest. He distributed awards to the winners of the Cultural and Sports Week, honoring their talent and dedication.

A highlight of the day was the unveiling of the college magazine, “ 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐀 ”, a creative reflection of the students’ aspirations. Professor Dr. Emran’s motivational speech concluded the first segment, leaving everyone inspired and proud of AMCC’s achievements.

The second segment of the celebration unfolded in the evening, featuring a mesmerizing Cultural Night, Prize Distribution, and a Grand Dinner.

The event was graced by Major General Mir Mushfiqur Rahman, BSP, SUP, ndc, psc, GOC 24 Infantry Division, Area Commander Chattogram Area, and Chairman Governing Body, AMCC, as the Chief Guest, along with senior army officers, faculty members & staffs of amcc and other distinguished guests.

The Principal of AMCC welcomed everyone with a heartfelt speech, setting the tone for an evening of joy and unity. The Cultural Night showcased students’ exceptional talents, celebrating creativity and heritage.

The Chief Executive Officer delivered an enlightening speech, highlighting AMCC’s accomplishments and future goals. The Chief Guest then presented awards to the Best Teacher, Best Student, Best Officer, and Best Staff of AMCC, recognizing their contributions to the institution’s success.

The event concluded with an inspiring speech by the Chief Guest, followed by a ceremonial cake-cutting and a Grand Dinner. The evening embodied AMCC’s vibrant spirit and commitment to excellence, marking another proud milestone in its journey of success.

This joyous milestone turned into profound sorrow with the sudden demise of our beloved 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡, 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙜. 𝙂𝙚𝙣. 𝘼𝙝𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙍𝙖𝙛𝙞, 𝙤𝙣 𝙅𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙮 14. 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙇𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙝𝙞 𝙬𝙖 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙄𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙝𝙞 𝙍𝙖𝙟𝙞’𝙪𝙣 . His untimely departure has left an indelible void in the hearts of the AMCC family as we mourn the loss of a visionary leader, mentor and guardian who guided us with unwavering dedication. May his soul rest in eternal peace and may his legacy continue to inspire us in every step of our journey.
